We saw activities records that showed people had access to activities that were important to them and had been supported to pursue activities that they enjoyed. We saw that care plans matched what people had told the service they like to do during needs assessments and in referral forms. Forest Dene Residentail Care Home is a purpose-built residential and repsite accomodation facility for people living with dementia.

There is shelter from the sun here and a wonderful view of the pretty gardens below. One of our residents takes on the responsibility of maintaining the planters on the balcony, which always look beautiful. Latest Inspection
A comprehensive induction when staff started and an annual training program for existing staff was in place to ensure staff kept up to date practice and delivered care safely. The service had a complaints procedure and people were confident that their concerns could be investigated and resolved by the registered manager. People were supported to participate in social activities and events provided inside and outside the service. People were supported by staff who were caring, kind, and respectful to their needs.
